Library Resource Center

The Library Resource Center is a secure area of your NetLibrary site that allows you to access detailed collection development and usage reports, organize your eContent collections, manage account preferences, and establish security levels for Resource Center users.

Collection Development and Usage Reports

The Library Resource Center provides detailed reports that can help you develop more strategic acquisitions programs. Reports are organized into two categories: Collection Reports and Usage Reports.

Collection Reports

  • Owned Titles. Displays titles to which the library has access.
  • Not Owned Titles. Displays all titles available for purchase from NetLibrary, excluding current library holdings.
  • Owned Titles for Ex Libris SFX. Displays titles to which the library has access in a format easily integrated into Ex Libris SFX.
  • All Titles. Displays titles owned and not owned - available from NetLibrary.
  • New Titles. Displays titles recently added to the NetLibrary collection within specific timeframes.

Usage Reports

  • Popular Titles. Displays all titles accessed in the selected time interval in descending order of activity.
  • Activity by Title. Displays title usage by title.
  • Activity by Subject. Displays title usage by subject.
  • Dusty Titles. Displays title usage in ascending order of activity.
  • Turn-away Statistics. Displays attempts to view titles where all copies were in use or the title was not owned by the library.
  • Dictionary Access. Displays number of times that users looked up terms in an American Heritage Dictionary.

Administration Tools

The Administration tools available from the Library Resource Center allow you to manage various aspects of your eContent program, including user administration, eContent administration, and account preferences.

With the Administration section of the Library Resource Center you can:

  • View accounts
  • Add, modify and delete users.
  • Establish categories for eContent.
  • Assign eContent to categories.
  • Set user check out limits.
  • Set security level for users.
  • Change Extranet password.

Connecting to the Library Resource
