Cross-linking to NetLibrary eContent

By constructing URLs containing NetLibrary product IDs, you can provide authenticated users with a direct link to NetLibrary eContent from any Web page. Use the following URL format, where XXXXX = Product ID, for eBooks, eAudiobooks or eJournals owned by your library:

http://www.netlibrary.com/summary.asp?id=XXXXX

You can locate the Product ID for any given title by conducting a search within TitleSelect:

  1. Login to TitleSelect
  2. Select Title option from the Search TitleSelect drop-down menu.
  3. Enter search term
  4. Click go button
  5. From search results page, click on the hyperlinked title to open eBook Summary page.
  6. Product ID will be displayed in the full metadata section.

Once you have created a url for a NetLibrary eBook, eAudiobook, or eJournal, you can place the URL on your library's Web page or other location, providing direct access to the title.
